School Grants are one of the best ways to make extra money for your higher education experience. It wasn’t until 1935 that in the State of Indiana general assembly passed a law giving college funds to students with high test scores. After this historic legislation, the Indiana State Financial Aid Association, or ISFAA was formed, and soon other colleges in Indiana started to join, creating historic opportunities for college students. It wasn’t until the late 50’s that the US government realized how important it was that bright students go to college, after the launch of sputnik. With guidance from the ISFAA the first federal financial aid orginization was formed. In 1963 the Health Education Assistance Act provided loans for students pursuing degrees in medical and health fields.The Federal Work-Study Program, a program that allows the federal government to pay the wages of working students followed. By the endof 1965, all of the financial aid programs that we know today were in place, and many people believe that it was these programs that kept us around as a global power.
It’s very important to look into Grants for School, because even though many people believe that they would not be eligible, a lot of people are. There are government and college grants for many different things. Federal Grants include the Pell Grant, the AC Grant, and the National Science and Mathematics to retain talent grant, but there are also state grants depending on which state you are planning to go to school in it could vary. There are grants for minorities and women, anyone who needs help can get a grant pretty much. So if you’re planning on going to college, just getting out of high school, the best thing to do is to look at Grants for School, along with financial aid. It doesn’t hurt to try, and the rewards can be extremely large. They could go to anything such as living space, food, and other college expenses such as tuition and books.
